STEPHANIE is one of mikasa's all-time best sellers, and one of the most popular bridal stems. The pattern features a balloon shape bowl, with a wavy optic look. The bowl is mounted on a thin clear stem with a small distinctive finial under the bowl.

This stemware is lovely. Its simplicity is stunning - with just enough "movement" in its pattern to add sparkle and interest without competing against a fully dressed table.

The collection is equally comfortable with my best china as with my casual dinnerware.

Each piece is has just enough heft to feel substantial and yet the lines are thin and delicate. The Stephanie collection is elegant. It has a feminine (but not frilly) approach, and is certain to appeal to the masculine sensibility as well.

I hand wash mine, but be careful! If you had wash too vigorously, or with too tight a grip on the stem while drying, the stems will snap right in half. It's best to put a sink liner down while these soak. Gentle, TLC is recommended...but worth the effort.

I own the full collection of stemmed pieces. I've been completely satisfied - even with a couple of breaks and chips along the way!!



I recently bought four to replace broken pieces. I've used these for years and they are remarkable. I always put them in the dishwasher and they look like new years later. They ring with a wonderful tone when tapped together in a toast, and they are pretty sturdy (breakage over the years attributable to guests loading them in dishwasher incorrectly so the stem caught on the top of the washer. Highly recommended.
